Calling East County volunteers! The San Diego River Park Foundation’s Clean and Green Team and the Friends of Santee’s River Park are teaming up to remove trash and debris from the river habitat in Santee at Cottonwood Avenue and Chubb Lane near Town Center Park. Please help us to provide a clean and trash free river and community in Santee. All tools and supplies will be provided; community service hours can be verified. Feel free to invite any friends or family interested in spending a few hours helping the environment, Light rain does not cancel. Be sure to dress in clothes that can get a little dirty, closed shoes required. Hat and sunscreen recommended.
