Description: Volunteers-in-Parks Day, Saturday, April 19th

Volunteers will work on the Long Pine Key Nature Trail. Volunteers will trim brush on a trail and around a parking area, clean up any trash, and remove the accumulated dirt, debris, and grass growth on the parking lot, making the area safer, accessible, and aesthetically pleasing for visitors. Details will be announced at a later date.

Description: Yosemite is celebrating Junior Ranger Day, and we’re cleaning up the park!

Join park rangers at the Yosemite Valley Visitor Center for a litter pick-up 1pm to 2:30pm. All ages are welcome, and the work should be easy to moderate. We’ll provide litter-pickers, buckets, gloves, and other safety gear. Volunteers should wear long pants, closed-toe shoes, and have sun protection and water.

All day long there will be special activities – art and ranger programs, swearing in of Junior Rangers, and much more!
