Description: Potential Plan. 1. Needed! 12-15 volunteers (1 group per day, two days total) 2. Sometime during the first 2 weeks of August. It could be a week day or a weekend, depending on boat availability. 3. Five working hours, not including travel to Flamingo or the boat transportation to the site (35-45 minutes) 4. Plant 5,000 grasses (average 45 plants per person per hour) 5. Hot, humid, and lots of bugs. 6. Two canal plugs that were installed along the Cape Sable area are showing signs of erosion. We want to plant native grasses to minimize the erosion.
