Opportunity Description: 

Volunteer needed to assist with maintenance at the Osceola National Forest. Carpentry skill needed, valid drivers license, ability to use hand tools. Some of the duties include sign repair and maintenance, facility repairs. Please contact our office for more information.

The Osceola NF is located about 45 minutes from Jacksonville with population of 1 million, 40 minutes to Gainesville and the University of Florida, 20 minutes to Lake City with full amenities and with the Nature Coast Corridor including the Suwanee River Valley. Plenty of state parks, rivers and springs, ocean beach access, and cultural amenities.

Work 25 - 30 hours per week in exchange for free campsite with full hook ups, gas, equipment and propane reimbursement. http://www.fs.usda.gov/osceola
