Opportunity Description: 

The C&O Canal is looking for volunteers to work at the recently renovated Ferry Hill Place in Sharpsburg, MD. Open Memorial Day through October, seven days a week, hours are flexible (8:30-12:30, 12:30-4:30) Duties include answering questions/providing information regarding the house and the park, giving tours of the house and the exhibits, operating the cash register and helping with bookstore sales.
