Opportunity Description: 
Job Description:Assist with care of all landscaping within Visitor Center complex. Remove invasive species and care for existing, native plant life. Assist with approved seed collection and plant propagation program. Provide information to Red Rock Canyon visitors on an as-needed basis. Will work in close cooperation with University of Nevada – Master Gardeners. Qualifications:Knowledge of Mojave Desert native plants. Ability to work and communicate with a diverse group of people. Ability to carry 25 pounds and move over uneven terrain in extreme temperature ranges. Training: Volunteer Orientation; CPR/First Aid; additional training as determined by team leaderTime Commitment: 2 days (12 to 14 hours total) per month.
