Where to Meet: We will meet in the Mission Valley Preserve interpretive garden located at the western edge of the YMCA parking lot at 5505 Friars Road.

Description: Did you know there is a nature preserve and a hidden river in the heart of Mission Valley? Would you like to learn how you can be involved in efforts to keep the preserve beautiful and healthy? On Sunday, November 11th at 10am and 11am we will hold an open house and preserve tours to showcase this incredible open space and efforts to restore and care for an endangered habitat in Mission Valley’s only park space. Learn about your preserve, the San Diego River Park System and what you can do to protect and enhance this very special place. Guided tours will begin at 10:15 and 11:15. Informational handouts and refreshments provided.
