The goal of the North Cascades Plant Propagation crew is to teach the importance of native plant restoration along with teaching the hands on skills needed to grow native plants and manage a native plant nursery. Volunteers at the native plant nursery will assist with a park-wide revegetation program with a focus on the nursery production of native plants. The work includes collecting plant seeds and cuttings, watering, fertilizing, transplanting, weeding, planting, assisting with facility management, and data collection/entry. These activities will occur primarily in the frontcountry. Volunteers may also have the opportunity to work with youth groups and other volunteers during many activities.
