Primary Responsibilities: The primary duty of the Office/Administration Volunteer is to assist the Rangers in the Lake Kaweah Headquarters office.
Specific duties include:
1. Assisting with document preparation and filing; this may include brochures, program plans, spreadsheets, and the like. 2. Assisting with counting receipts from the “iron rangers” located in the Security Room. 3. Assisting the Interpretive Ranger with presentations, as available. 4. Assisting with other duties as available and scheduled.
1. Desire to work (minimum 25 hours per week) and live in natural outdoor setting, with your own RV 2. Desire to meet and interact with persons from varied backgrounds. 3. Cognitive, verbal and auditory ability to correspond on behalf of USACE volunteer program and file documents in accordance with current standards, answer questions and communicate with various constituents who call, email or stop into the Project Office. 4. Knowledge of and ability to use computer programs such as Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook, Adobe and others and comfortable with online data bases and reports.
1. Office experience, or work with filing. 2. Previous outdoor recreation experience as employee or volunteer. 3. Previous RV Experience (Updated 12/20/2018)
HOUSING & AMENITIES Type: Trailer/RV Pads Description: Volunteers selected for this position may be assigned a campsite with water, electric, and sewer hookups in Horsecreek Campground.
