Mountain Home Project Office/Volunteer Park Host:
Positions are available in parks on Bull Shoals Lake! The Volunteer Park Host will collect and transmit all user fees (such as camping, day use, etc.). Park Hosts will work with all aspects of the National Recreation Reservation Service. Responsibilities include receiving telephone calls, recording data, providing visitors with local area information, performing inspection tours of the park, and updating campsite reservation and group shelter information daily. The computer will be used for all aspects of the park program.
Volunteers should have basic computer skills and be willing to complete other duties if needed. The desired employees must maintain a professional appearance and manner, have a pleasant personality, and the ability to deal with diverse visitors. A personal background check is required. The flexible work schedule is a minimum of 25 hours per week. Shifts are 5 to 8 hours in length depending on situational requirements and will be worked at predetermined times.
