site host will serve as caretaker of the San Pedro House. The site host is normally on-duty from sunrise approximately 8:30 am to approximately 5:30 pm sunset.
"Backup" Maintanence of 2 restrooms in the general vicinity.
Open gate at dawn and close at dusk.
Pick up trash and move to on-site dumpster.
mow, weed and trim vegetation as needed.
perform general cleaning and maintenance as needed.
Put up and take down flag on a daily basis.
Keep public information boxes in order and stocked.
Work with the Friends of the San Pedro river, a volunteer organization that has a Cooperative Agreement with BLM; assist them with the operation of the book store/ visitor center and during special events.
Provide visitors and information on the San Pedro Riparian National Conservation area along with it's rules and regulations.
Maintain a courteous and professional demeanor in dealing with the public.
Inform appropiate law Enforcement officials of any illegal and suspicious activity; assist these personnel during emergencies.
HOUSING & AMENITIES Type: Trailer/RV Pads Description: Site has a covered RV pad. Solar Power Electricity, Propane, water and sewer are provided. 30 and 50 amp hookups.
