Falls Lake is located in the beautiful and bustling triangle area of North Carolina. Although considered a metropolitan lake, Falls Lake has it all! With over 12,400 acres of water surrounded by 25,500 acres of public lands, the lake provides an abundance of opportunities to recreate and relax among the beautiful pine and hardwood forests and undeveloped shoreline.
Falls Lake Dam/RV Park Host Volunteers:
Falls Lake is located in Wake, Durham and Granville Counties in North Carolina. Operated through a partnership between the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers and the State of North Carolina, Falls Lake conserves 38,000 acres in the midst of the flourishing Triangle area of North Carolina.
Volunteer around 25 hours per week on a wide variety of duties based on your experience, abilities, and interests. Duties may include greeting visitors inside the Visitor Center, answering telephone calls from the public, interacting and promoting water safety with visitors in the park, assisting with outreach programs, managing life jacket inventories around the lake, assisting with lock up procedures and dam operations, inspecting bathhouses, picking up litter, painting, weeding and gardening, and other miscellaneous maintenance projects.

HOUSING & AMENITIES Type: Trailer/RV Pads Description: Volunteer will reside at the Volunteer Park Host campsite located within our 300 acre park. Enjoy views of the lake, woods, and wildlife while being only minutes away from shopping and dining amenities. 50amp electricity, water and sewer are provided.
