Yes, this beauty may be spotted here! Work with us during 2018, the 75th anniversary of George Washington Carver National Monument, to document the breeding bird populations within park boundaries. Maybe you will see an Indigo Bunting, Kentucky Warbler, or Red-headed Woodpecker!
Collect data for inclusion in park reports and long-term monitoring of bird populations. VIPs must be at the park in the early morning hours. You may work in pairs and must be able to accurately identify birds visually and audibly, be self-directed and follow data collection protocol, be able to walk and lift up to five pounds, and use a hand-held GPS unit. The park is located in rural, southwestern Missouri. #GWCarver75th
