Special Events Assistant
Job description: The special events volunteer work may include: assisting in the setup of park programs, handling digital equipment, greeting and assisting event attendees, photography, filming, and recording with park cameras and other devices.
Qualifications: Ability to use or learn to use the following items: still digital cameras, HD video cameras, and other digital recording devices. Applicant(s) must work well in a team environment and maintain safety procedures as instructed by park staff. A vehicle for transportation is strongly recommended. Preferred experience with the Adobe Creative Cloud Suite and Mac OS X.
Time commitment: Volunteer(s) would have the ability to perform this service throughout the year at interpretive, educational and community programs; Little Rock Central High School NHS hosts multiple special events throughout the year requiring the service of the special events team.
Selection criteria/age requirement: Applicant should specify interest on Volunteer Services Application; applicants must be a minimum of 16 years old. Applicant must be able to perform physical labor with some exertion. Background check may be required.
