Get away from it all this summer and live on the river, the Klamath River!
Salmon and Steelhead make their way up the Klamath, white water makes its way down. No matter what type of recreation you enjoy -- fishing, hiking, rafting, just enjoying the remote and beautiful setting -- this is a perfect opportunity. Become a Camp Host for us and spend time in the great outdoors doing something fun!
The Klamath National Forest is a recreational gem for fishing (Salmon and Steelhead), hiking, white water sports and so much more. We have volunteer campground host positions available at Curly Jack campground. These positions are full time and we ask that volunteers work on Saturday and Sunday.
Host duties include talking to visitors about local points of interest, informing visitors of regulations, gathering visitor use information, and performing maintenance and cleanup around the campground. These positions will be offered free hookups, water, electricity and phone.
Do you love spending time on the river, helping our fellow campers and enjoying the great forests of our country? We are looking for hosts who have strong communication skills, are customer service-oriented and love being in a beautiful area!
