BUILDING AND GROUNDS:
Because M.A.R.C.H. maintains two historic sites in Montague, for the National Park Service, there are boundless opportunities for volunteers in building and grounds. Minor repairs throughout the buildings are done on a regular basis. This includes painting, trim, wood working and some electrical repairs. Other larger projects include re-building windows and doors. Assistance is needed in helping the curatorial volunteers in setting up their displays. Outdoor yardwork like raking and brush cleaning is always needed at both sites. Flower gardening is also done at both houses, lawn mowing and snow plowing is provided by the road crew of Montague Township.
