We are looking for a friendly, energetic couple to help fill an 8 week position from May 21 - July 16, 2018. This opportunity is for a couple traveling with their RV trained in visitor services and light maintenance. This remote location has an RV site with accommodations for water (a water buffalo), generator power, and sewer. Our volunteers are considered international travelers, work four days per week for a total of 32 hours, and may receive limited reimbursement for food and travel (fuel) receipts. Applicants should have prior experience in communicating with the public, possess basic maintenance skills, and be able to lift and carry up to 30 pounds. Each one must possess a current CPR/First Aid Certifications, and have a valid driver's license. Volunteers will be asked to give interpretive talks to visitors 2 evenings each week; guidance will be provided. Volunteers will need to work independently following orientation and guidance from staff.
