Climber Stewards work with the climbing management program and assist climbing rangers at the park. They serve as a critical link between the National Park Service and the climbing community. They perform a variety of duties to include: provide info about climbing; assist with Climber's Coffee; conduct patrols; assist with wildlife, restoration and other park projects as well as other necessary duties.
Applicants must be at least 21 years of age, have a valid US drivers license and be CPR certified. Knowledge of Joshua Tree National Part is mandatory. Familiarity with self-rescue or technical rescue is preferred. Please submit climbing resume. Boulderers are encouraged to apply. 12 weeks minimum commitment between November and April.

HOUSING & AMENITIES Type: Camp Sites Description: A campsite will be provided at Hidden Valley Campground for the duration on volunteer's service.
