Women's Rights National Historical Park Park Information Assistant will aid in staffing the visitor's center (VC) while representing the National Park Service in a professional manner. Volunteers will:
provide high quality customer service
share information with visitors
provide interpretation as needed
distribute official printed infromation
have an undertanding of books and items in the VC store
operate the cash register
start and stop audio-visual equipment
Volunteeer schedule is 4 - 20 hours per week, 9:00am – 5:00pm Wednesday through Sunday.
Volunteers will willingly and effectively and communicate with visitors to share the mission of Women's Rights National Historical Park and the overarching mission of the National Park Service.
Volunteer training will include NPS policies and procedures, 1848 Women's Convention History, knowledge of our properties and exhibits, articles and books in the Visitor's Center store, cash register operation, starting and stopping video equipment, and
