Become a National Park Crew Leader! Crew Leaders work alongside rangers leading volunteer habitat restoration events for corporate and youth groups along the river. This is a great chance to work outside and share a love of nature and the river with others. Volunteers learn about the natural world as well as how to work with groups. Crew Leaders must attend an annual training in the spring. The training is at Park Headquarters (free parking provided) and finishes up with an outdoor field training. Volunteers commit to work 5-6 events within the May-October time period, on weekdays. Scheduling is very flexible. Contact Karen Katz at email@example.com or 651-293-8458 for more information.
If you are interested in general volunteering, please see the "Volunteer at the Mississippi River" opportunity.
