Douglas County Parks provides opportunities for citizens to volunteer to host at our beautiful Parks. You could find yourself at the ocean or at one of our riverfront parks providing services to our campers or daily visitors. Our park hosts are quite literally some of the most visible faces of our organization, helping visitors feel welcome, answering their questions and familiarizing them to the park and surrounding area.

Our Volunteer Hosts keep our parks clean and inviting by picking up litter and taking note of anything needing repaired, as well as checking for safety hazards. They also maintain all barbeques and fire rings.
Daily responsibilities are varied, and may include some of the following:
Providing assistance to patrons, or helping them with problems or pointing out park rules and policies to help them have a pleasant time.
General park maintenance may include cleaning of restrooms and checking restroom supplies.
Volunteers are provided with a free Full Hook-up space for their motorhome or camp trailer in which to stay, utilities are paid. Stipend Camp Hosts are paid $10/day/5 days a week.
WiFi and Laundry facilities are available on site for hosts to use.
HOUSING & AMENITIES Description: Volunteer's must provide their own housing unit.
