JOB DESCRIPTION: Volunteers will remove graffiti as soon as they can once it has been reported. You will work projects on the Public lands of southern Nevada. These projects can be in the developed and undeveloped areas of these public lands. These projects are strenuous and may be performed on uneven ground, during inclement weather. They will involve lifting and the use of tools. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: You will be a member of a graffiti removal team. You will operate out of the offices of the appropriate agency and operate government vehicles. Graffiti will be removed by various means including but not limited to: bio-degradable chemicals and wire brushes, grinding, sandblasting and painting. You may be required to hike in and camp overnight in remote areas. bi
Operate a government vehicle (if licensed to operate government vehicle) .
Operate air compressors and generators.
Use hand and power tools.
Use bio-degradable chemicals.
Properly load and store equipment.
Mix and store paint.
Use appropriate rollers, brushes and spray gun to cover graffiti on structures and facilities.
Proper use of drop cloths and protective clothing.
Maintain and clean equipment after use.
Supervise other volunteers with special projects. (Eagle Scouts or other projects.)
