Custodial Assistant Volunteer at White Sands National Monument
Clean in and around park buildings using brooms, vacuum cleaners, and mops. Empty trash cans and pick up trash in the dunefield. Support monument staff with custodial needs.
Volunteer should be able to lift heavy objects up to 30 pounds, follow directions provided by supervisor, and work as a tem member.
Individual works indoors/outdoors. If outdoors, volunteer will be exposed to conditions such as exposure to sun, heat, thunderstorms, rain, wind, and cold, depending on the season.

HOUSING & AMENITIES Type: Trailer/RV Pads Description: Residential volunteers (on park RV sites), must commit to 32 hours per week. Couples may split the requisite 32 hours if sharing the same RV site and both are signed up as active volunteers.
