Jack's Creek Equestrian Campground is a great little campground in the Pecos Canyon. It is semi-primitive and in need of a great host or host couple for summer 2018!
Campground host duties include greeting and providing information to visitors/campers, cleaning restrooms and fire rings, making rounds through the campground in the morning and evening, cleaning up trash, and representing the Forest Service as stellar volunteers!
Jack's Creek Equestrian Campground offers 2 vault toilets, fire rings and picnic tables. It's a beautiful little campground in the mountains!
The host RV site is suitable for campers up to 30 ft. long. Water is available in the campground. A host for this opportunity will need to be self-contained in regards to electric and propane. No sewer is available at the host site, but the upper campground has sewer available.
This campground is approximately 45 minutes up the canyon from Pecos, New Mexico. Host reimbursement for allowed expenses is $50/week, with Mondays and Tuesdays designated as days off. Cell service is not available.
Dates are flexible.
