One volunteer needed to perform varied tasks at Green Lake National Fish Hatchery assisting the hatchery maintenance staff with general maintenance of equipment, buildings and grounds upkeep using power equipment and hand tools. Knowledge and experience in the trades is a plus. Nature trail maintenance and fish culture may also be a part of this job experience.
Work related activities may require travel to other worksites using government owned vehicles. A valid driver's license is required as well as defensive driver training provided by the government. A 24-hour week is required. Work days and season length are negotiable. An RV site with full hook-up and 50 amp service, WiFi, washer and dryer are provided at no cost. Preference will be given to applicants that can commit to the entire volunteer period (6/1/2018 - 9/1/2018).
