Volunteer archery instructors needed to teach basic archery disciplines to youth and adults at the Edwin B. Forsythe National Wildlife Refuge. Mentor a child -- if interested, you can become a certified archery instructor. Instructor training consists of an 8 hour course, taught by a certified Level 11 instructor, who will certify the student as a USA Archery (USAA) Level 1 instructor after attending and successfully completing the written exam. Instructors will be trained and be able to implement an archery program at the refuge. Archery builds confidence and teaches the elements of focus, practice, goal setting, discipline, teamwork and achievement. It’s an activity that everyone can do, regardless of physical disability.
