Park Host/Holy Ground Park:
Volunteer Duties: The park host is responsible for providing visitor assistance, and overseeing the park. They are responsible for opening and closing of the gates from 7:00 A.M. to 7:00 P.M. The host will post pavilion reservation signs and turn the lights on. They will make no less than 4 patrols throughout the recreational areas during the weekend. Other duties will be picking up limbs/ litter, blowing along the walkways/pavilions and remove full trash bags. A minimum of 12 hours a week is required. The park host needs to be able to provide visitor assistance, and remain friendly and accommodating at all times.
Special Skills: Attentive, friendly, and accommodating. Portray a positive image of the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers. Work will be performed according to safety guidelines provide by the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers. Training will be provided. (Updated 09/28/2018)
HOUSING & AMENITIES Type: Trailer/RV Pads Description: Housing & Amenities: Holy Ground Battlefield Park has camping pads with water, electric and sewer hookup free of charge. All volunteers will be provided volunteer shirts and cap.
