Make a difference at Point Reyes National Seashore by sharing your passion for the park and developing that passion in others. The Community Volunteer Ambassador (CVA) intern assists the park's Volunteer Office to increase opportunities for the community to engage in meaningful volunteer experiences. The CVA intern will reach out to and encourage participation from those of various backgrounds, cultures, ethnicities, abilities, and ages, particularly youth. By the end of the internship, the CVA intern will have helped to increase the capacity of the park to host volunteers while having created systems to sustain this growth.
The CVA intern will have many opportunities to develop skills in leadership, collaboration, communication, and program and project management. Other benefits include:

Eligible applicants must meet the following criteria:
U.S. citizens or permanent legal U.S. residents
21-30 years old
2-year degree holders (minimum)
Must be willing to relocate for 1 year
Must have a driver's license and clean driving record
This internship starts January 28, 2019 and ends January 13, 2020.
