Job Description: Do you enjoy talking with people? Would you like to share the story of George Washington Carver? This volunteer job is for you! The visitor center features interactive exhibits, classrooms, a museum, and theater. The greeter desk is an enjoyable place to work. VIPs greet and welcome visitors, begin each session of the park film, conduct sales in the museum store, and assist with easy projects.
Skills Needed / Preferred:
Good communication skills
Ability to determine visitor needs and answer questions
Knowledge of park information
Goals/Outcome of Job:
Provide a welcoming atmosphere for visitors, allowing them to visit the park safely and at their own pace, with knowledge of park trails, programs, etc.
