Campground Hosts serve as a liaison between campground visitors and the Bureau of Reclamation. Hosts are responsible for providing campers with campground rules and regulations, cleaning and stocking restrooms, cleaning fire rings, picking up litter, conducting fee compliance checks and reporting any problems and unsafe or hazardous conditions within the campground as they are discovered.

Be able to deal with a high volume of visitors under occasionally hectic situations.
Can communicate effectively with people of all ages, backgrounds, and cultures.
Contribute as a team player working with a diverse group of people
Able to provide and use personal electronic device to receive daily emails.
Volunteers should be prepared to live and work in a campground environment exposed to all types of weather conditions.
Hosts are provided with a campsite with full-hookups (no Propane) for a self-contained trailer or motor home. In addition, hosts are eligible to receive a camp rate of $34/day, for 5 days of the week with two days off. Volunteers are responsible for reporting all taxable income.
